Description

Our Client is a provider of industry-leading communication offerings with an emphasis on products and services for the deaf and hard-of-hearing, is seeking experienced software engineers to assist in the development of mobile and embedded communication applications for the deaf and hard-of-hearing.



Responsibilities:

Utilize object-oriented design and development skills to implement embedded communication applications
Develop GUI and other aspects of the application according to the standards of the platform
Implement communication protocols and related technology
Provide aggressive, attainable goals and time frames
Provide expertise and recommendations for standards based architectures and supporting services
Follow engineering best practices in a team environment to develop high-quality products
Contribute to the overall system architecture and the development of embedded product features


Required Qualifications:

BS degree in CS, EE, or equivalent
4-6+ years of experience developing state-of-the-art applications
2+ years of experience developing embedded or mobile applications
Significant experience with C/C++ and Linux
Good object-oriented design and analysis skills
Experience developing high-quality, multi-threaded applications
Must possess good communication skills and be eager to work in a team environment with other dedicated engineers


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with text or voice communication applications
Experience with multiple operating systems
Experience with C# or Java
