Job Title: NOC Specialist Engineer
Location: Salt Lake City, UT.
Position: Full Time

Part of a team that provides monitoring of Client's production systems for 24x7 hour operations. Provide front line operations support to Client's production systems. Provide customer service and technical assistance to VRS interpreters and customers. Use technical and communication expertise to help VRS users with Client's VP-100/VP-200/VRI systems. Troubleshoot and maintain VRS and IP Relay systems and services, including servers, client applications and networks. Help VRS interpreters with technical issues on the client applications. Use excellent customer service skills in resolving issues reported to NOC support and document them appropriately in reports and logs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide monitoring of Sorenson production systems and networks
• Provide front line NOC support response for Sorenson production and service systems
• Provide technical assistance to VRS/IP-Relay interpreters
• Provide technical assistance to VRS customers
• Provide basic support to SOG, NOG and DOG teams
• Perform VRS/IP-Relay systems maintenance
• Perform call center maintenance and configuration
Qualifications:
• College degree preferred or equivalent experience
• 2 years experience installing/configuring and supporting networks, workstations and servers
• 2 years experience monitoring, managing and supporting production computer systems
• 2 year experience working directly with end users and customers
• 2 year support experience with MS Office products
• Ability to manage trouble incidences from beginning to end.
• Must be able to manage time effectively.
• Must be detail oriented and document incidents and escalations.
• Must be able to work effectively in a high-stress environment
• Must be process oriented, and highly organized.
• Must be able to concentrate for long periods of time on computer monitoring devices and to remain calm in stressful environment.
• Must be flexible with coverage on weekends, nights and holidays.
