Server Application Specialist with EDI

Responsibilities:

• Support of Sterling Software's Gentran: Server for Windows.
• This will include installation, administration, monitoring and trouble shooting.
• Mapping experience would also be helpful.
• Support of other windows applications including:
o Esker Software Deliveryware
o IBM Websphere
o Kewill Clippership
o Microsoft SQL Administration
o Loftware Label printing
o Zebra ZPL label printing
o ArcServe backup software
o Content Management system
• Knowledge of Windows Client / Server Operating Systems are helpful, including:
o Security / Permissions
o Domain policy management
o System monitoring
o Network connectivity
o Software installation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field
• Experience with Sterling Gentran: Server
• Ability and willingness to learn new distributed applications
• MCSE certification a plus
• 3+ years of experience managing, diagnosing and resolving issues in Distributed Applications and Servers, desktops / laptops and printers
• MS / SQL experience
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Good interpersonal skills
