The People Source has an immediate opening for one Interaction Designer with its Boulder, CO client -- a casual, team oriented and fast paced Internet Startup. Client seeks candidates with positive mental attitude and a passion for Web Innovation who will work with product management and web developers to scope, design and prototype interface mockups, interaction flows, information architecture, and visual designs for new features in Web 2.0 - style web applications. Online community experience is preferred. Client is motivated to interview and hire interested and qualified candidates immediately.

Essential Qualifications
• Passion for interaction design, user experience and usability, applied to solving large community design problems
• Knowledge of the web and experience designing interfaces for “Web 2.0” applications
• Proven track record of designing brilliant UI interactions that make large amounts of data easily and intuitively accessible, as well as expose powerful functionality without overwhelming the user
• Advanced to Expert skills in Photoshop and Illustrator
• Excellent analytical, oral, written, and visual communication skills
• Ability to collaborate actively & effectively on multidisciplinary teams

Desired Skills
• Bachelor's degree (BFA preferred) in interaction design, graphic design or related field.
• 3 or more years experience in User Interface Design, Information Design, and Design for large online communities
• Knowledge and ability to create CSS styling and HTML markup to spec
• Knowledge of JavaScript, especially jQuery
