Intuit is seeking a User Interface Developer with a strong passion for producing quality software and web user interface. Responsibilities:
o Passionate about creating a world-class customer-facing user experience and desire to develop creative ideas, concepts, and new ways of doing things
o Passionate about discovering & learning new UI technology
o Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug and implement software for the UI component of the system
o Develop high performance object-oriented JavaScript & ActionScripts
o Design and create high-fidelity working prototypes to illustrate solutions and test for usability & user acceptance
o Thorough experience and understanding of Web Application implementation, technologies and concepts, particularly Flex, JSF, JavaScript, EXT component and Java
o Advanced knowledge of Flex, HTML/XHTML, ActionScript, JavaScript, DOM, DHTML, XML, and CSS
o Experience converting graphical mocks into functional mark-up
o Experience developing intuitive user interfaces
o Demonstrable knowledge of the latest web standards and cross-browser development challenges and issues
o Work closely with product managers, designers and engineers to implement designs
o Executing against plans and demonstrating initiative, creativity, and innovation in driving ideas to fruition
o Design and create high-fidelity working prototypes to illustrate solutions and test for usability & user acceptance

Ability to:
o In-depth knowledge of User Interface Design principles, Human Factors, User-Centered Design Processes, Interaction Design guidelines, Usability Methodologies, industry standards and trends, platform standards, software development process, and prototype/design.
o Expert in Adobe CS Suite, Flash, Dreamweaver
o Expert JavaScript (object oriented; knowledge of frameworks like Prototype, YUI, and YUI-ext)
o Experience with AJAX technologies like JSON, XML, XML-RPC, etc
o Strong standard-compliant HTML/CSS/XML/XSLT
o Proven track record in cross platform cross browser development
o Analyze product requirements based on understanding the perspectives and needs of end-users.
o Competency with XMLHttpRequest (AJAX)
o Strong knowledge of software development best practices and relevant industry standards.
o Client-side debugging, profiling, and optimization
o Strong and clear oral and written communication skills.
o BS or MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional accomplishment

Experience:
o 3 - 5 years enterprise-wide programming experience in Flex, 5+ years building Flex applications with hands on experience building large, high volume, web-based OLTP and OLAP applications with high-reliability requirements
o Experience working in an agile development environment
o Experience in front-end frameworks like Flex, JSF, Ext, Ruby on Rails, Django
o Experience with graphical / UI design (emphasis on creation of graphical images, icons, transition effects)
o Experience with Rich Internet Application (RIA) development using Adobe Flex and Actionscript3
o Experience with executing software projects through the complete software engineering cycle.
o Experience in client-side debugging, profiling, and optimization
o Prior experience building SaaS applications
o Advanced knowledge of HTML/XHTML, JavaScript, ActionScripts, DOM, DHTML, XML, and CSS
o Experience with Eclipse IDE (and MyEclipse IDE)
o Experience with multiple web-server technologies (Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, etc)
o Experience with consuming web services, REST, WSDL, and service-oriented architecture (SOA)
