Sr. Project Engineer opportunity in Illinois. Lead the development of the electrical design, insulation design, manufacturing cost savings, and performance testing of new and remanufactured DC traction motors and AC auxiliary induction motors. Coordinate resolution of field problems associated with reliability and performance of DC traction motors and AC auxiliary induction motors. Communicate DC traction motors and AC auxiliary induction motor design and application information to Systems Engineering, Drafting, Manufacturing, and Service personnel. Assist in resolution of DC traction motor and AC auxiliary induction motor manufacturing problems. Keeps abreast of new technology and competitive products associated with electrical machine designs; Travel as required to fulfill work assignments. Accept special assignments as business needs require. Actively identifies new areas for learning and takes advantage of learning opportunities. Salary 73K-97K.
