Position Overview:
Position Description: Summary:
Information Security Analyst will work directly with IT and business staff for security-related issues. The analyst will ensure compliance to security standards and develop BAU procedures for large IT environment.
Responsibilities:
Monitor for security incidents.
Troubleshoot security related problems.
Maintain security awareness on the part of IT functional units and other business units.
Develop, document and implement data security procedures.
Perform covert investigations upon request utilizing forensically sound methods.
Monitor and ensure compliance.
Skills:
Strong investigation/analytical skills.
Strong understanding of Unix/Linux OS and network security vulnerabilities/remediation.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and firewalls.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of network and host security assessment tools.
Formal training or work experience in security tools (scanners, Intrusion Detection Systems, and security analysis tools).
Interpersonal and relationship management skills.
Proven leadership skills.
Strong familiarity with security issues surrounding network computing and experience in implementation of security systems and controls.
