"Drives consistent operations of production and development databases for the company Designs, codes, and tests existing and new databases Coordinates users and roles, backup and recovery, data import/export, and performance monitoring Administers the coding, testing, and quality assurance of database descriptions for any new databases or changes to existing databases Ensures 7x24x365 availability of systems and databases responding to outages with corrective action Designs logical and physical databases or reviews description of changes to database design to understand how changes to be made affect physical database Participates in long term planning and strategic initiatives Required Skills: The successful candidate will meet the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or System Engineering 10 or more years of relevant experience in including: database administration, RDBMS design and development, a Desired Skills: Non-Tech Skills: Start Date: 09-29-2008
