"The Oracle Applications Database Administrator III will provide production, test and development environment support, including:Ensuring the high availability, performance and security of the production databases. Supporting the test and development database environments.Tuning at the instance and SQL statement level. Maintain database on RAC and Fusion environments. Install patches, upgrade, and cloning from production to other environment. Code promotions. Monitor application performance ensuring scheduled programs and interfaces run appropriately. Analyze current issue resolution processes; use LEAN methodology to streamline. Maintain backup and recovery of critical business data. Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in IT or business related field required. 5 years experience in expert knowledge of key Technologies including Oracle DBMS, Oracle Applications and Fusion Middleware. Experience leading Oracle e-Business Suite Release 11i and 12 applications including ERP, Financial, CRM modules in Multi-Org environment. Experience leading n-tier Oracle Applications environment with shared Applications environment. Experience with version 9i and 10g are required. Experience with large numbers of databases (1TB ) required. Experience upgrading databases 9i to 10g and non-RAC to RAC. Experience with installation, cloning, patching and administration of e-Business suite application v11i and v12. Experience with Backup and Recovery of Oracle databases 9i/10g. Key area of technical experience: o10g database RAC (With ASM) for e-Business Suite. o10g OEM, Grid control. oDatabase capacity planning. Experience in SOX IT and Financial processes and associated documentation.
