"This position will report to the Sr. Director of Engineering Productivity, and will be part of a high performing team chartered with creating a CDO environment built for speed and scale.Responsibilities:Lead the definition and implementation of the engineering workflow and product development process. This is part of a cross-functional initiative to create and implement a Cisco-wide Product Lifecycle Management strategy and plan. Build and run a Program Management Office responsible for management of key community relationships and program deployment (Hardware, Software, Test, Product Management, Project Management, Cross-Functional Integration). Develop capabilities to measure and improve engineering productivity.Initiate and lead business process discussions. Generate plans for implementation in accordance with business objectives. Focus on proactively identifying areas for improvement through the identification of process, operations, and customer failure points and develop a remediation or new approach as needed.Drive major business tools architecture change and adoption. Partner with the Systems & Infrastructure and IT teams to deliver solutions. This partnership will be critical for success.Apply knowledge of Ciscos business strategies to proactively anticipate and prioritize business needs. Translate the current and future CDO strategy into relevant initiatives and projects.Gather industry data and best practices. Benchmark the findings against current Cisco practices and process impact. Partner with senior leadership across key stakeholders within Cisco to ensure key initiatives are implemented successfully across the CDO.Engage with cross-functional Cisco teams to create a common platform and approach across siloed initiatives.Qualifications:Experience in large scale business process definition, transformation, and program management, and success developing and running a high impact Program Management Office.Experience with Product Lifecycle Management deployment and Organizational Change Management desired.
