On behalf of a Florida firm, Access Staffing is conducting a search for Web Developers
These are direct/permanent positions located in Broward County, Florida with a technology firm developing software products for e-commerce. US citizens and Green Card Holders and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor H1B candidates at this time. Local candidates and candidates not requiring relocation or interview assistance are currently being considered; relocation assistance is not available.
This company uses Perl, as well as PHP, JavaScript, HTML and AJAX, for large, complex Web 2.0 software tools development. This is a great environment for someone who is creative, who thinks “outside the box”.
Candidates should have:
• Experience in software development in Perl, preferably in a Linux (or Unix) environment
• Web development using languages such as PHP, JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, XML, AJAX and/or CGI
• SQL experience; MySQL preferred
• Full project life cycle experience
• Experience developing commercial/”shrink-wrapped” software products or software deliverables highly preferred
• Excellent problem solving, creativity and “think outside the box” mentality
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with XUL a plus but not required
