Position : Database Architect
Location: Ottawa
Salary: 100k-110k
Candidate must have extensive experience and proficiency with SQL and commercial-grade RDBMS packages (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.);
Experience or understanding of XML and XML-based data storage/querying technologies;
Extensive experience and proficiency in data modeling, database schema design, ERD development, and related concepts;
Experience in database performance tuning; and experience in database administration;
Experience working with very-large databases and the associated challenges in those environments;
Experience in healthcare information technology is strongly desired;
Posses excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred;
