Job Details
This organization requires engineering and software development support to develop analysis tools in support of network analysis. This effort involves several individual development tasks which are coordinated under a single strategy to provide for near and long term goals.
Participate in architecture and system/software development activities that include the development of requirements, interface specifications, and implementation planning. Responsibilities include:
• Participation in architecture development activities that may include the development of requirements, interface specifications, and implementation planning.
• Interaction with Analysts to discover new ways to combine data to solve more challenging needs
• Document the as-is systems and how the Analysts are using the current tools
• Identify the gaps in the current tools combining Target Knowledge and Network Knowledge
Level 5.
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry and typically 14 to 19 years experience in an engineering classification or either a Master's degree with 12 to 17 years experience or a PhD degree with 9 to 14 years experience in an engineering classification. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
• 15 years experience in a technical role in software intensive projects and programs for Government or Industry customers
• Masters or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• 10 years experience in programs with particular relevance to SIGINT, Communications Systems, and Information Technology
• 15 years experience in programs that encompass systems architecture, requirements analysis, design, production, integration, test and transition into operations
• 5 years in an Intelligence Community environment
The candidate should have the following skills and experience:
• Experience with the systems engineering life cycle
• Experience with developing and specifying system and software architecture
• Experience with Wireless / Cellular technologies (GSM, 3G/CDMA 2000, 3G/UMTS)
• Experience with systems used within the TAC
• Experience with Network technologies (SIP)
• Experience with Requirements gathering and writing
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with other highly skilled individuals
