Job Details:
This position is responsible for resolving Sybase database issues, data modeling and data structure issues within TTO tasking for a specific Government customer. Qualified candidates will identify and resolve problems, and provide guidance and technical assistance to team members less experienced with SYBASE products. A minimum of 10 years experience is required. Candidates are expected to be knowledgeable in all areas listed below:
- The full range of Sybase products and their uses
- Conversant with new Sybase product features
- Data structure, database design and application programming
- Database performance analysis, tuning and design impacts of hardware and software
- Identification and implementation of appropriate tools and techniques in support of system development lifecycle
- Accredited by Sybase on ASE 15 and expected to be accredited on new versions as required
- Technical documentation
- Product testing
Required Education:
Masters of Science degree preferred in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar degree.
Security Requirement:
TS/SCI with full scope polygraph required.
