Position: 6-12 months contract



Description:

Need solid Java web testing abilities and skills to make Java code / programming changes. Candidate should be proficient with testing methodologies preferably iterative approach. The candidate must be proficient with SQL, PERL, Ksh, shell scripting, UNIX/LINUX, and messaging technologies preferably TIBCO (or MQSeries or JMS). In addition, the candidate must have prior experience testing and integrating large systems. Additionally, FIX protocol is a highly desired skill.



REQUIRED SKILLS:

Past development experience in Java or another language, JAVA web testing, skills with the Java Null Pointer exception, strong SQL skills with use of queries, adds/joins, stored procedures/triggers, strong Unix skills with use of vi editor and commands, writing of shell scripts from scratch and Unix navigation and troubleshooting, solid manual QA testing skills with some automation skills and financial / brokerage / trading background would be a plus.
