Develop, maintain, test and debug enterprise and departmental software applications. Analyze business and manufacturing processes. Implement technology to optimize these processes. Travel to all company locations and customer facilities is required.
Location- Northwest Arkansas
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development of major system modules and programs, under the guidance and direction of more senior programmers
• Work with the customers to understand and solve business issues
• Document business processes including process maps, descriptions and requirements.
• Work independently on complex software and hardware solutions
• Test and debug software including other programmers applications
• Collect business, functional and non function requirements to solve business issues
• Develop Use Case Analysis
• Maintain current software applications
• Document new applications and modifications of existing programs - both within the software and via users' guides.
• Adheres to standard programming techniques and develops reusable program code
• Follows production turnover processes.
• Provides accurate time estimates relating to project development and assists in preparation of project management/status reporting.
• Coordinates with outside software development consultants as applicable.
• Provides on-call support for applications and services.
• Coordinate activities with customers and IS teammates
• Train and support user community on technical and process solutions
• Develop and deploy reports
• Participate in customer and vendor communications
• Develop and maintain technical skills across multiple disciplines
Qualification
• Thorough understanding of the project development cycle
• 3-5 years experience in the following areas
Microsoft development (.NET, VB.Script, C#)
Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL (queries, stored procedures)
ASP.NET & ADO.NET. and MS SQL Server.
HTML, HTTP(S), JavaScript, SQL and relational databases.
Web Services- SOA and XML
• Reporting Services a plus.
• BS Computer Science or related degree
Additional Skills and Experience
• Sharepoint
• Visual Basic programming in multi-user environment.
• Crystal Reports.
• Bar code data collection.
• Experience in web development and administration.
• Experience with scanning technology and label printers.
