Level 1 Help Desk Associate

•A basic understanding of telecommunications escalation requirements.
•A basic knowledge of data communications and demonstrated grasp of networking technologies (i.e. T1, frame relay, bridges, routers, TCP/IP).
•Minimum of one relevant certification (i.e. MCSE, Network +, A+) and/or equivalent technical education or experience is preferred.
•Must have strong communication and customer skills. Able to clearly communicate network issues and the status of efforts to resolve problems.
•Previous experience in a network operations center or help desk environment is desired.
•Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multi-task, assess and set priorities based on customer and business impact.

Must be able to handle multiple tasks
* Must understand Queue Management
* Must have excellent verbal and written skills
* Excellent time-management skills
* Follow process and procedures as documented and communicated
* Work with other teams within IT to coordinate troubleshooting
activity and help streamline technical resolutions
* Must have strong knowledge of trouble ticketing systems
* Must be able to handle multiple tasks and demonstrate leadership
