Job Description:
Our client is an established engineering firm which is currently looking for a seasoned Technical Writer/Editor who has experience in writing proposals and finalizing bids packages in response to US Government solicitations for new construction.
You would be part of an international team working collaboratively (via the Internet) in support of drafting working papers towards a finalized bid for work being offered in the Middle East through the US Government with USACE, USA, DoD, State and USAID as probably clients.
Work would be on a project basis lasting two to three weeks of intense document design and development. This is a great opportunity for someone that likes to know out drafts and revise iteratively. Most work would involve writing narrative against a SOW with the added flexibility to include graphics/illustration and editing. Experience in writing to RFPs in construction management, engineering (civil, environmental, cost and quality) and other related technical specialties essential for consideration.
Responsibilities:
• Intense document design and development
• Assisting in creating narrative RFP's based on Government Solicitations of Work (SOW's)
• Work collaboratively with remote team to produce final deliverable
Required Experience:
• Government RFP's
• Construction Management / USACE Reconstruction experience within the technical/engineering fields
• Government Contracting Experience
• Military Experience (a HUGE plus)
• Construction Management
