Job Description:The person in this role will be at the forefront of the new Kodak. The Kodak Software Center of Excellence's (SCE) Applications and Components (A&C) group has an immediate need for a dynamic and motivated team member with demonstrated experience in desktop software interaction design, project management (with both internal and external resources), and advocating superior user experience. You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of focused professionals to create compelling, "best-in-class" visual interaction design that supports Kodak's known and respected "ease-of-use" vector of differentiation. Your work will span many areas within the desktop photo space. You will also have the opportunity to work with a broad range of highly-skilled external business partners. Responsibility for the visual interaction design direction and creation of assets, screens, coordinates documentation in conjunction with approved external resources.

Ensure that visual interaction designs meet or exceed our group's creative and strategic missions.

Work with external resources through RFP/RFQs, proposals, and change orders to manage costs and deliverables schedules.

Ensure that project deliverables requirements are met.

Work with other A&C team members to achieve highest quality solutions.

This position reports to A&C Director.Skills and Experience Required:

Six to seven years direct experience in consumer software interaction design and rapid prototype development (using either Flash or Adobe After Effects).

Direct experience and responsibility for resource forecasting, project cost management working with internal and external resources, managing responsibilities for several projects simultaneously.

Direct relevant experience in creating statements of work, requesting RFQs/RFPs from external resources, and presenting decisions for resource selection- Direct experience working with clients to develop deliverables requirements and schedules.

Demonstrated experience in interactive authoring techniques and user-centered design methodologies.

Direct experience working with Human Factors Engineers to create project scope and workflow documents, demonstrated ability to work from these types of documents.

Demonstrated experience in motivating team members to exceed project requirements and customer expectations.

Proficiency in all Adobe Creative Suite 3 applications and interactive multimedia authoring and scripting tools such as: Flash, HTML, XML, ActionScript.

Advanced skill in motion graphics applications such as Final Cut Pro, AfterEffects and Premiere

Excellent graphic design and illustration skills.

Excellent verbal and written skills, persuasive presentation techniques.Educational Requirements:MA / MS / MFA preferred, with emphasis in consumer photo software interface design. Candidates with BFA and equivalent, relevant experience and supporting portfolio of work will be considered.
