We are looking for technical instructors and field service engineers with AC - DC drive experience for client in Virginia.
Location: Norfolk, Virginia
Compensation: Base salaries are open depending on skill and experience level, though we are targeting $60,000 - 90,000. Solid benefits. Relocation assistance is offered.
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally... Instructors about 20%. Field engineers around 40%.
Required Skills: 2+ years experience with large AC and-or DC drives. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of heavy equipment and-or large capital equipment and understand the design principals of large electric drive systems. Ability to read, interpret and utilize electrical schematics. Maintenance and repair involving high, medium and low voltage.
Pluses: System analysis and troubleshooting on Siemens and GE AC and DC drive systems. Evaluation of technical training courses and materials. The design and presentation of classroom and on-the-job training classes. Foreign language skills, i.e. German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Chinese...
