MERIDIAN Technology Group seeks a Senior Software Analyst GW7065 with a minimum of 10+ years experience doing design and development using OOA / OOD. Must have in-depth experience taking a project from market requirements through initial deployment and extensive experience in environments that emphasize software development best practices. In-depth knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and familiarity with Rational tools required. Well versed in software development methodologies, Scrum preferred. Broad and deep development skills in DOD COP environments, Java a plus.
You will be responsible for the creation and detailed evaluation of software requirement specification documents and statements of work using information provided by business analysts and other senior software engineers. You will manage interface between development entities both internal and external. Enforce software development best practices and review work product against specified acceptance criteria. Excellent analytical and communication skills both verbal and written and ability to work well in a team environment required. Bachelors in Computer Science required. Masters in Computer Science preferred.
