Data Architect (Level 3)
Job Description:
Works with project team to translate business requirements into practical data structures.
Qualifications University degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
Minimum 10 years experience in IT with at least 5 years experience as a database developer, DBA or related role
Minimum 5 years experience as a Data Architect in a Data Warehouse environment
Minimum seven years working experience with Oracle databases; 2 years working experience with SQL Server an asset
Experience in the development and implementation of large, complex corporate data models
Experience with tuning and support of Oracle data marts
Experience designing and operating large data marts/warehouses
Experience with BI and ETL tools
Experience with Microstrategy (BI) and Informatica (ETL) products an asset
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong written and spoken English-language communication skills
Excellent documentation skill with proven ability to translate concept into design (Please provide examples of successful projects)
Experience with healthcare data and the Kimball Methodology an asset Familiarity with privacy and security issues in healthcare an asset
