The client, Fortune 500 Company in Jacksonville, FL, is desperate to fill the position of Sr. Oracle Development DBA. It is 3 months contract-to-hire opportunity.
Job Description:
A senior Oracle DBA with a strong background using PL/SQL, designing and implementing Oracle objects, managing change control across Oracle environments, performance tuning PL/SQL, DB objects, etc.
Must have excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will interface with the customer to develop specifications related to enhancements and defects.
The successful candidate will multi-task across multiple critical projects and competing priorities.
The successful candidate will have a solid background in data modeling, data administration and data dictionary maintenance.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of successes implementing large scale, complex OLTP and DSS systems.
Minimum Requirements:
Certified Oracle Professional
More than 8 years working with PL/SQL and Oracle databases supporting product development.
Desired Qualifications:
3 years experienced with the use of a data modeling tool such as Erwin or ERstudio.
Certified Oracle DBA with emphasis on product development
Performance tuning PL/SQL
Ability to work well under time constraints.
