We are currently seeking an IT Asset Management Coordinator to fill 3 months contract-to-hire position with our client in Mendota Heights, MN. This position will be responsible for performing daily asset management responsibilities. This person will be customer facing and could, at times, liaison communications between I.T. personnel and the client's Desktop and other business units. The role of IT Asset coordinator is to achieve software compliance, reallocate and track IT assets, perform invoice reconciliation, and maintain an accurate IT inventory database. Asset Coordinator will serve as primary contact for all desktop, software and mobile asset related questions/requests.

Position Responsibilities
• Maintain control and accuracy of computer hardware, software, mobile devices and other IT assets
• Verify the receipt of assets and maintain copies of the applicable packing slips for assets
• Coordinates software licensing true ups
• Coordinates procurement of hardware such as desktops, laptops, scanners, mobile devices and other IT assets
• Reviews computer deployment requests
• Coordinate transfers of assets
• Work closely with IT management and HR to create detailed reports as required (i.e., spares, forecasts, lost/stolen, etc.)
• Coordinate and communicate with technical staff and various levels of management
• Assist with selection and implementation o of asset management software
• Primary user of Asset Management software
• Perform other duties as required

Position Requirements
• 2-3 years asset management experience
• Must be proficient in Windows XP and Microsoft Office suite of applications
• Familiarity with software compliance practices and tools
• Knowledgeable of ITIL asset management practices
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team oriented environment
• Ability to transport equipment often weighing up to 30 pounds
• Works well independently and takes initiative to find answers and seek guidance when appropriate
• Ability to handle multiple projects
• Excellent organizational skills
