Manager Application Services
This position will serve as the day-to-day leader for the eCare system, the integrated set of Cerner clinical applications (and other related components) that support the clinical services provided by physicians, nurses and other clinicians for a nationally recognized leader in healthcare.
**Healthcare experience required; provider / hospital management preferred**
Qualifications:
• Experience in managing systems in a 24 X 7 support environment with multiple stakeholders groups (each with unique goals) and various SE Michigan geographical locations.
• Experience in exceeding customers expectations via developing an understanding of their required services and implementing processes and operations and measuring to ensure attainment.
• Experience in leadership of system development projects including experience with using requirements definition techniques, building user interface designs, test planning and execution and managing deployment activities.
• Experience in planning and managing large and complex projects and mentoring other team leads in similar activities for their projects; experience with PMI or other methodology.
• Cerner experience preferred, will consider experience in other integrated clinical system environments. Please make sure to note which clinical applications you are experienced with if other than Cerner.
• Experience in reporting to management and users the status of current operations and SLA commitments, project status and the results of root cause analysis and issue resolution plans.
• Experience in maintaining a well controlled IT environment including appropriate controls to ensure the accuracy and completeness of processing and stability of operations as well as a quick return to processing when downtime is experienced.
• Experience in developing and managing the processes to engage stakeholders to define their projects based on business value and to prioritize them based on business value
• Experience in managing vendor relationships and SLA's.
• Experience in managing the administrative responsibility of a department including developing and managing a budget and all HR responsibilities
• Good verbal and written communication skills and negotiating with team members and stakeholders to achieve the best results for the company.
Obviously, management experience required.
