We have an AWESOME opportunity with an enterprise level organization! This is a 6 month contract to hire position in a high-visibility role for a Cisco Firewall Engineer.
REQUIRED:
1. Broad knowledge of Cisco equipment, including complex devices such as Catalyst switches from 3750 to 6500's; Cisco routers up to 7200 models.
2. Experience with VoIP including installing and maintaining Cisco Call Manager systems and Unity Voice Mail.
3. Documentation of network architecture including following formal Management of Change processes.
4. PIX, ASA, CheckPoint, and Symantec Firewall experience.
5. VPN Gateway skills.
6. Network designs and platform layouts.
7. LAN / WAN
DESIRED:
Payment Card Industry (PCI) experience - credit cards
CERTIFICATIONS
Both the CISSP for Firewalls and CCNP Certifications are highly desired (must be current)
EDUCATION
4 year degree preferred, but not required.
