We are working with a dynamic start-up in the Boston, MA area that has plenty of VC money, an “A-LEVEL” management team, and a market-defining product.
Job Description:
Our client is looking for a front-end Web Developer who understands the web from a platform perspective and has an appreciation for rich application development and the technologies that make it possible.
This role will work closely with product development to implement an innovative toolset for managing, accessing and interacting with multimedia content. You will be expected to rapidly prototype and iterate over implementations for customers as well as core products.
Required Skills:
• CS Degree.
• Proven web development skills
• Strong web service experience -- be prepared to show something you've done with the Google/Amazon/Ebay etc API's
• Solid understanding of SEO best practices
• XSL experience a HUGE plus
• Flash experience a HUGE plus
• Strong CSS / CSS 2
• Fierce advocate of W3C Standards -- you should know W3C not just w3schools
• LAMP/Java Stack
