Software Test Engineer
4 Months Contract with a greater possibility of extension in Billerica, MA
Knowledge Desired:
Experience with development of test plans and test scripts
Systems analysis experience with focus on the connection between customer needs and technical requirements, use case development, and the development and execution of test plans, and test scripts
Ability to translate technical requirements and use cases to test cases and provide traceability mapping
Ability to perform to documented test plans, develop and manage test schedules
Knowledge in developing and analyzing test and real-world data
Experience preparing and presenting technical data
Experience preparing and presenting reports and briefings both orally and written
Strong verbal and written communication skills for both a technical and managerial audience
Attention to detail, and ability to balance multiple, changing priorities
Familiarity with requirements traceability and testing tools
Responsibilities include:
Work with multi-functional teams throughout project lifecycle to support identification of project requirements, development, execution, and management of test plans and scripts for integration testing, system level testing, regression testing and user acceptance testing
Manage acceptance level testing for user acceptance, images, and deployment packages including managing business partner participation
Documentation and communication of test results and progress
Support the configuration control of the development and test environments including tracking of defects identified during test cycles
Participate in and undergo peer reviews for requirements, test plans and documentation
Participate in project test readiness reviews
Support the identification of risks and opportunities during the project lifecycle.
