InfoTech Resources has an immediate need for a SAP Basis Administrator. This position can be permanent, contract, or contract-to-hire. The requirements are as follows:
SAP Basis Administrator
Part of a three person team providing support for the installation, administration, upgrade and monitoring of the SAP R/3 application software and databases. Performs R/3 systems management functions and control (CCMS); R/3 corrections, transports and application of patches and new releases. Performs SAP R/3 system troubleshooting, analysis and problem resolution, views logs and trace files, and monitors and tunes SAP Oracle databases. Reviews and enforces standards, procedures and guidelines for SAP R/3 management and SAP databases.
Requires a four-year college degree or equivalent work related experience; thorough understanding of the SAP system, business processes, and internal controls. Minimum of 3 years experience with SAP Basis administration and 3-4 years experience in Oracle and Unix in a midsize to large environment. Knowledge of hardware concepts (RAID, SAN), and basic networking concepts desired.
