Software Engineer - C/C++/Java

We have an immediate opening for a well-rounded software engineer.
The ideal candidate will have experience in both C/C++ as well as
Java.

Job Description

• Develop and maintain stand-alone server side applications in
C++/Java (not typical web applications, not J2EE)
• Produce results independently as well as part of a collaborative team
• Work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Develop, extend and maintain new applications built upon an
existing architecture
• Ability to write robust code that runs unattended in 24x7 environments

Requirements

• Experience with multithreaded programming in C++/Java
• Experience with network programming/protocols(sockets, tcp/ip, http, etc)
• Experience in P2P network protocols and web crawling a strong plus.
• Experience accessing SQL databases using ODBC, JDBC (MySQL a plus)
• Windows platform development experience a must, using Visual
Studio, Eclipse, Netbeans
• Strong debugging skills

Qualifications

• 3-5 years development experience in C/C++/Java
• 2+ years XML/SQL. MySQL experience preferred.
• BS or MS in CS, or equivalent experience
