Program Manager -- DOD experience
Our client is a US Subsidiary of a world class firm operating in the defense and military sectors, is in search of a Program Manager. The position located in Vermont will report to the Vice President of Programs and to the VP of Operations. The position is heavily 'matrixed' within the organization, working closely with the supply chain and logistics teams.
The Program Manager will have the following responsibilities:
• guide the relevant company departments in order to achieve program requirements for cost, quality and on-time delivery.
• delivery of program within contractual schedule and quality requirements, and within budgetary guidelines.
• Key role is to insure the profit on the programs are delivered.
Requirements:
• Ability to read blueprints is a requirement of this position.
• bachelor's degree with a focus in engineering is required and a
• minimum of four years experience in managing contracts for the Department of Defense is desirable for consideration.
• A strong background in pricing is necessary; the individual should be able to provide quotations.
