Looking to build on your current Windows Server experience? Then we have the perfect opportunity for you! We have a 6 month contract to hire position in Houston, TX (downtown) for an enterprise level organization.

Qualified individual will be a mid-level engineer responsible for Windows 2003 to 2008 servers. This position will be working on the Data Center team to assist with configurations and deployments as the client is moving to Win 2008. Ideal candidate will have HP Blade Architecture experience. If candidates do not have this experience, there will be an immediate learning curve for this technology. Basic networking fundamentals are required, but this is a true systems engineer position.

REQUIRED:
1. 5+ years Windows Server experience; version 2003 and 2008 preferable.
2. Enterprise-level experience.
3. MCP required.
4. Cluster experience.
5. MS SQL experience.
6. Experience designing server solutions to meet gathered business requirements.
7. Proficient in documentation and presentation of design solutions.
8. Proficient in Visio.
9. Knowledgeable of networking technologies and terminology.

DESIRED:
MCSE Certification.
Experience with HP Blade server technology.
Experience with virtualization technologies.
Experience with SAN storage solutions.
Experience using Windows scripting.
