The Solutions Consultant will be responsible for managing accounts where increased spend drives increased revenue, and responsible for demonstrating the Contract and Service Management application capabilities.
Responsibilities:
• To clearly articulate Click Commerce's Contract and Service Management vision to prospects, customers and analysts.
• To drive increased revenue in existing accounts through active planning and execution of spend increase strategies.
• To represent Click Commerce and its solutions to prospects / customers with credibility and integrity.
• Conduct meetings with prospects / customers, review business processes and identify pain points.
• Develop and deliver standard and customized sales presentations and demonstrations tied to the company value proposition.
• Develop detailed proposals or RFx responses for customers and prospects.
• Provide technology, product and application expertise to account sales team and prospect / customer.
• Contribute to overall practice developments in the areas of product demos, process improvements, training and technical selling skills.
• Assist salespeople with managing leads and opportunities and support every step of the sales process.
• Provide ongoing feedback to Product Development and Product Marketing teams
Requirements:
• Good understanding and domain expertise in one or more of the following areas:
Strategic Sourcing, eProcurement, Business Services (preferably IT) and Human Capital
• 5+ years experience as a Solutions Consultant (or Sales Engineer) selling enterprise business applications.
• Demonstrated track record of success in out-performing sales goals.
• Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of sales and marketing procedures.
• Ability to build instant credibility with business executives.
• Ability to convey benefits to both business and technical audiences.
• Excellent inter-personal, oral and written presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
