Required Skills:
10+years of IT experience in the field of Enterprise Network and Security technology.
Strong understanding and experience with Layers 2 and 3 of OSImodel, NetworkSwitching and Routing, Proxy Servers,VPN, IP Telephony, QoS,MPLS, Network andServer Load Balancing,EGP, IGP, Firewalls, Wireless Networks,Virtualization, and Network ManagementSystems
Strongprocess orientation with demonstrated experience inITIL and PMI methodologies
Networking and Security certifications such as CCNA, CCNP,CCSP, CISSP, GIACor CCIE
MBA or MSDegree preferred
Key skills required:
CCIE certification
ComplexNetwork design & Implementation experience inData Center networking
Responsibilities:
Providing technical and architectural leadership in the context of large strategicprogram of work to consolidate Capital One data centers andnetworks
Creating architecturedeliverables withinthe Definition phase of a projecton behalf ofthe architecture sponsor
Presenting project and target architectures to architecture reviewmeetings (ARC)
Updating RequirementsTraceability Matrixwith mappings of architecture toSystem Requirements.
Technical management of thetransitionof projects from the Definitioninto the Design phase Technical input to new3rd party technology selectionsand solutions innetwork and security areas Approval of project designs onbehalf of relevant architecture sponsor
Providing estimates for architectureefforts Ensuring thatalldeliverables adhere to architecture process quality requirements and standards.
