Manufacturing Technician Level II
7 Month Contract Position
Thursday - Saturday & Alternating Wednesdays - 12 Hours per Day
The Manufacturing Technician will operate complex equipment and analytical tools, processes and state of the art 8" silicon wafers in a clean room environment. While the Technicians perform their work duties they are gowned in a gore suit that covers them from head to toe.
Multi-tasked responsibilities may include minor preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, non-standard processing and problem-solving. Primary job duties are to perform a variety of routine operations supporting wafer fabrication in a specific functional area. Position requires working efficiently from standard procedures and specifications.
Technicians work 12 hour shifts and spend the majority of their time on their feet. Some, if not all, tasks performed require repetitive motion. The candidate must also adhere to all company safety, quality and code of conduct guidelines.
This is an estimated 7 month contract position through Volt Technical Resources- a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, located in Portland, Oregon.
