DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Performing validation and verification testing of software products to ensure developed products meets quality benchmarks; (2) Designing and executing test plans; (3) Following processes and procedures based on ISO 9001 guidelines; (4) Documenting test results and properly reporting a summary at the conclusion of all validation, verification and review of any product, part of a product or written documentation that is passed to appropriate contacts as a test requirement necessary for delivery to the customer base; (5) Communication of all appropriate information, orally and written, to all necessary contacts within the environment and customer base.

REQUIRED:

4 years of STRONG/CURRENT testing and verification in a commercial software house product environment.

Rational Functional Tester experience highly desired.

STRONG/CURRENT VB/VB.net based product testing.

MUST have strong/current knowledge of SQL, SQL Server (or similar database, e.g. Oracle), and SQL query language.

MUST have Microsoft Windows XP/2000/2003 Server Edition and Vista Operating Systems experience.

MUST have proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

MUST have strong/current testing and validation of web and client/server based applications.

Pluses Undergraduate degree. Commercial software house experience.
