·Understand InfoStretch STAR Framework based on SilkTest and customize it as applicable to the product/application release for testing of web-based applications.
·Work with product architect and offshore project lead to setup test environment, define and execute testcases and reporting defects.
·Interact with clients, understand project requirements, apply InfoStretch methodology to develop testcases adhering to client defined processes and templates.
·Define test data required and other dependencies.
·Perform manual testing of assigned testcases, identify, report, and track defects.
·Use InfoStretch STAR Automation Framework to develop automated data/keyword driven regression testcases using SilkTest for testing of web applications.
·Execute automated testcases for regression purposes on multiple platforms and report defects.
·Evaluate newer tools/technologies to continue enhancing InfoStretch automation framework.
