Client is a Fundraising enabler for schools. They provide access to photos of children to their parents as portraits. Upon purchase of the portrait, the same can be printed on gifts like mugs, shirts, mouse pads.
Job Description
Client is looking for Technical Java Architect with thorough understanding of industry best practices for creating scalable, multi-tiered web applications with high-availability and performance. The incumbent should have:
o knowledge of clustered web, application and database servers
o understanding of optimizing bandwidth usage when dealing with mutli-part requests and images or binary objects
o understanding of dealing with large volume of data over the wire and relevant architectural or design patterns to enhance system performance
o an engineering background with relevant experience in creating, managing and maintaining enterprise level applications
Java/Tech requirements .
1. Architect experience
2. Ability to build scalable systems
3. Load balancing -- ability to handle large volume of data with HA ( high availability) and Performance.
4. Work in clustered environment -- Virtual machines. In case of Failure in cluster, how to address it ( 404)
5. Production Environment -- clustered environment
6. Data search algorithms
7. Linked list has lot of elements. Fetch algorithms to fetch data.
8. Struts 2, Spring framework
9. Java
10. Jsp/servlets
11. Jboss, Tomcat ( it's ok if they have weblogic or websphere server)
12. Ajax
13. Clear understanding of the Java threading model
14. Clear understand of leading design patterns
