Summary of duties
- Front-end database system support
- Front-end database maintenance
- Data output analysis
- Database debugging
- Database coding
- Defining report and data automation design requirements
- Data model and flow specifications documentation
- Maintenance of report documentation
- Versioning of all reporting components used to build and manage and perform multi system reporting
- Design, development, testing, installation and implementation of report based programs and stored procedures
Requirements
?BS Computer Science or related degree
Minimum of three (3) years in programming, databases, reporting and systems analysis
? Oracle Certifications strongly preferred!
? Programming experience in commercially available release-based health care applications, specific to reporting development and troubleshooting a plus
? Must have demonstrated experience with report writing tools (Crystal Reports)
? Experience with HL7 coding
? Experience with clinical systems -- Highly preferred
? Experience with medical billing systems -- Highly preferred
? Experienced in database and technical support, troubleshooting and technical systems development
? Defined requirements of reporting needs, systems analysis, SLDC, solid technical/database
? In depth training and expertise with noted experience in Oracle, SQL, Crystal and other types of reporting software, development/reporting writing tools for use across enterprise projects.
? Must possess advanced skills and experience in oral and written communications, including analysis, specification and database/system preparation and report presentation.
? Must possess experience in analysis, programming and use of health care patient administration, financial and clinical systems as well as general knowledge of major health care information issues
? Must have proven experience in being able to define reporting needs and requirements for enterprise systems
? Able to communicate and organize reporting projects among a broad spectrum of hospital personnel, frequently under deadline pressure
