.NET Solutions Software Developer
Description
Candidate must be highly motivated, innovative, able to work independently, able to communicate well and work well in a high performance, fast paced, team environment. Candidate will be tasked with developing Client workflow components, windows applications, web applications, integration interfaces, database interfaces, software test harnesses, .NET components, GUI interfaces, communications protocols and the like for the company's professional services organization. Candidate must possess good verbal and written communication skills and be able to elaborate on concepts, design and implementation details in customer and team meetings. Responsibilities could include some or all of the following disciplines: .NET, C#.NET, OO Design & Development, XML, XML Schema's, SQL, RDBMS interfaces, ASP.NET and enterprise integration. BS in Computer Science, Engineering, technical degree or equivalent required. Candidate must have 6 years development experience and minimum 4 years solid experience in software development / engineering w/ Microsoft .NET development tools and development environments.
Some travel involved.
Required General Skills:
• Software life cycle development methodologies
• Strong software engineering experience with Microsoft development tools & methodologies including the .NET Framework & C#.
• Familiarity with solving computing challenges around scalability, distributed architectures, high volume transaction processing
• Strong background in object oriented programming
• Development of server side components, applications, scripts, services and processes for deployment to external customers.
• Worked on a high performance team in a high-tech startup or startup-like environment.
• Web Services experience
• Multi-threading
• Windows Forms and ASP.NET experience.
Additional Bonus Skills:
• Enterprise integration methods and tools (e.g. connecting to large ERP, SCM, CRM, WMS, legacy backend data processing subsystems)
• RFID, Physics, RF
• Handheld & Portable device development using Windows CE, PPC OS & .NET Compact Framework
• Graphical User Interface prototyping & design for rich usability
• Ability to deliver developer oriented training
• Microsoft C++, Java, enterprise integration platforms
• TCP/IP socket programming, RS232 programming, Internet Protocols
• Specification documentation (UML, State/ Transition Diagramming, Dataflow Diagramming, Use case documentation)
• Microsoft MOM, SMS, Biztalk
