DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Project management with a heavy focus on the Agile product development methodology of multiple initiatives in this global software development environment; (2) Working closely with software product development teams to coordinate and project manage timelines, deadlines, customer expectations, delivery process(es), etc.; (3) Evaluation and analysis of current processes, recommending and implementing process improvements where applicable, and automating as much of the repetitive process as possible to improve efficiency and increase productivity; (4) Tracking all projects and deliverable dates, and communicating all issues to appropriate parties; (5) Performing project level financial analysis and tracking; (6) Driving essential communication (oral and written) to all impacted parties to include customers, executive management, technical development groups, etc. where necessary; (7) Developing project plans and overseeing adherence to project plans, project methodology, etc.; (8) Working with product development teams and management structure in the planning and architecture and development of future generation products; (9) Overseeing the development of functional specifications, process(es), workflow, wireframes, error messages, interface specifications, test cases, etc.; (10) Planning and managing iterations, releases, etc.; (11) Managing business analyst tasks, and overseeing the function of requirements gathering; (12) Project and resource management.
REQUIRED:
MUST, MUST, MUST have an undergraduate degree verifiable by a thorough background check.
MUST, MUST, MUST have STRONG/CURRENT Agile methodology AND STRONG/CURRENT project management experience in a software product development environment.
Must be managing projects that are involved with bringing some type of software product to the consumer or business marketplace.
Must have STRONG/CURRENT MS Project experience and VERY STRONG/CURRENT experience managing projects through the entire product development lifecycle.
MUST have very strong experience writing functional specifications for a software solution.
Pluses: PMI certification. Software house experience.
