Software Developer (specialized in BI, Oracle Reporting)
Position Summary:
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop/Customize Oracle reports using Oracle Report Builder
• Create and administer Oracle Discoverer ad-hoc reports
• Create/modify oracle database objects needed from reports and ad-hoc reports
• Participate in software requirement collection, analysis and design
• Participate in software product enhancements, debugging and problem solving.
• Participate in release management and integration testing
• Participate in on call for after hour customer support.
• And all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills & Knowledge Requirements:
• Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred. Minimum of 1-3 years experience required.
• Industrial development experience with Oracle Report Builder, Oracle Discoverer. Thorough understanding to software life cycle processes.
• Working knowledge of SQL, SQL*PLUS, PL/SQL
• Industrial experience in Oracle Graphics and/or data warehousing a plus.
• Working knowledge of PHP/My SQL a plus
• Industrial experience in software requirement analysis/documentation and relational database design a big plus.
• Good team player and effective communication skills. Must demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment and flexible hours.
