We are looking for a great candidate who job functions will be as follows: The Oracle RAC /GRID Systems Admin position is responsible for the design, testing, implementation and support of a LINUX server architecture customized and optimized to the specific requirements of ORACLE RAC / GRID databases. Position requires the ability to support an Oracle RAC environment in a 24x7, mission-critical environment with large databases (database sizes ranging from 500GB to 20TB). Oracle RAC/GRID experience for a Solaris operating system environment is also desirable. Database backups and recovery must also be designed within the total solution. Familiarity with Veritas software products (Storage Foundation/NetBackup) and Oracle ASM.
Minimum Requirements:
Sr. Systems Admin capabilities in UNIX environment(SOLARIS 10 and/or Red Hat Enterprise Linux)
Significant experience with ORACLE database server applications and workload balancing/clustering.
Must be able to pass an extensive background investigation and get a top secret clearance.
