C++ Software Engineer Embedded
Pittsburgh, PA or Sunrise, FL

Design and implementation of features to audio and client services and call flow components
Refactoring critical portions of the current software to support future enhancements
Debugging issues found by our customer support team
Defining, planning and designing overall system architecture
Communicating technical details internally and with our customers
Required Experience:
BS,MS, PhD in EE/CE/CS or related discipline
At least 3 years experience developing object oriented code in C++ and C++ STL
Solid understanding of programming in various operating systems environments
Excellent debugging skills
Experience in overall system design and implementation
Tenacity and thoroughness in completing tasks
Desire to contribute to the development team thoughtfully and effectively
Demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities and troubleshooting skills
Superior communication skills
Preferred Experience:
Knowledge of telecommunications
Experience with commercial RTOS environments
Knowledge of TCP/IP and network programming
Experience developing/designing large, technically complex software systems
Strong scripting skills (e.g. perl, ruby)
Understanding of software engineering lifecycle
Use of ClearCase/ClearQuest version control and configuration management tools
