Vignette Content Management applications.
They will direct the group, based on business requirements, to consider the following aspects of VCM development for existing and new web sites:
• Authorization groups and security management
• Roles and capabilities
• Approval and deployment workflows
• Product sustaining engineering - patch control, deployment master, performance tuning, configuration settings
• Content analysis and data modeling
• Content type modeling and implementation
• VCM Widget customization and configuration
• Console customization - adding menu options, property sheets, etc.
• Content scans, exports, imports
• Taxonomy management
• Advanced search indexing and optimization
• VCM administration through portal
• Presentation templates, formats, module components
Essential Skills and Experience:
• Experience with Servlets and J2EE Applications
• Content scans, exports, imports
• Knowledge of Java Portlet JSR 168 technology
• Knowledge of front end web technologies such as JSP and JSF
• Knowledge of XSLT
• Proven Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) experience
• Ability to troubleshoot problems
• Experience with SQL and Hibernate
• Ideally, experience or familiarity with the Media Industry
Minimum Qualifications:
This is a very hands-on technical development position. The ideal candidate will be comfortable coding in Java as well as presenting technical concepts to senior leaders in the group.
• Lead teams on design and coding best practices, VCM design, and reuse opportunities
• Experience leading and mentoring development teams in design and development best practices
• Experience developing and supporting large applications using various tools and technologies
