DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Full Systems Life Cycle programming in the development of state of the art, feature rich software; (2) Resolution of software defects in a timely manner; (3) Adherence to departmental software development guidelines and processes; (4) Providing weekly status reports to project manager describing accomplishments for the week and plans for the following week; (5) Reviewing code of peers and provide constructive feedback in a collaborative effort for development groups to increase knowledge, capability, and depth of development.

REQUIRED: 2 years of JAVA software engineering with strong/current OO/Java design in a UNIX and Windows environment.

Strong Oracle database knowledge (SQL and PL/SQL) is a MUST.

Strong JDBC is a MUST.

Pluses: JUnit or other testing frameworks; ClearCase, or other Rational tools.

Personaility traits: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written. Developed analytical and multitasking ability. Developed written and oral communication skills. Ability to effectively function in a team environment.
