NW/VOIP Engineering Manager
Seeking experienced NW/VoIP Engineering Manager to manage the design of leading edge VoIP products (CPE and servers) deployed in a novel wireless mobile Voice over IP (VoIP) telephony systems.

Qualified candidate will have five to seven years of experience in VoIP, telephony, wireless networking or other related fields, and five to seven years of managerial experience.

Responsibilities
· Plan, execute and ensure the overall success of VoIP projects

· Design the network based on commercial-off-the-shelf or home-grown network elements and validate performance and stability

· Provide strong technical leadership and lead the design and development of new features

· Work within the team and other teams in the R&D organization to generate complete functional and design specifications, organize reviews, manage the implementation/coding/unit-testing stage and provide feedback to team

· Interface with customers as needed to understand technical requirements and to address queries

Requirements
· BSEE/CS and 10 or more years of experience with 5 years in managerial roles, in fast-paced and dynamic engineering teams; ability to meet aggressive goals
· Solid understanding of VoIP concepts, protocols, network architectures and devices/components
· Proven software design and development background
· Understanding of processes required for delivering high quality software consistently
Strong project management skills; ability to work in an informal startup-up environment and strike the right balance between the needs of the team and those of the organization.
Required Technical Skills
· Operating Systems - Linux
· Technologies - VoIP (SIP, Proxy, networking), IMS, IP networking (MIP, DHCP, DNS, AAA, PPP, GRE), Traditional Telephony, WLAN (802.11), VPN
· Protocols - SIP, SIGCOMP, RTP/RTCP, UDP, TCP/IP
· Applications and Devices -- SIP phones, VoIP Gateway, IAD, Session Border
Controller, Proxy, Voice-mail, Chat/IM, PTT/PoC, and E911 features
· Understanding of Voice and Cellular call control state machines
MUST HAVE VOIP EXPERIENCE
