Our client, an award-winning interactive agency with a roster boasting many popular brands and located downtown is looking for a web application developer - with agency experience - to work across their client portfolio on innovative interactive solutions:
* Professional Java and .NET/C# are must-have skills/experience
* 3 or more years professional experience with the design and development of Internet based applications
* Programming Languages: Java, .NET/C#, SQL, XML/XSLT, HTML
* Experience with relational database design and development
* Experience with one or more of the following database systems: MySQL, SQL-Server,Oracle
* Advanced understanding of core Internet technologies (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, web servers, server scripting, data interfaces/providers, web services, etc)
* Must be able to take initiative, be flexible and adaptable
Bonus Skills and Experience:
* Content Management System design and development experience
* e-commerce application design and development experience
* Other Programming Languages: PHP, Ruby, ASP3/VBScript, etc
* Development Frameworks: PHP/PEAR, Ruby-on-Rails, Zope, Drupal, others(?)
* Experience with Unix/Linux development and production environments
* Experience with other database systems: PostgreSQL, DB2, etc.
