Title: .NET Application Developer
Location: Richmond, CA
Position Summary:
We are looking for a .NET application developer who will be involved with design, implementation and testing of the .NET applications. You will become part of a tight-knit, highly productive team of designers, developers and QA engineers in one of the largest and most successful solar companies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Participate in design, implementation, testing and maintenance of a suite of mission critical applications
•Design, implement and assist in maintaining the database used by developed software products
•Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
•Evolve development practices to improve the effectiveness of the team
•Interact with a diverse set of stakeholders, including engineers, product designers, information technology professionals, and management
•Willingness and ability to quickly learn new technology
Education and Experience:
•BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
•At least 5 years experience in developing .NET applications
•At least 5 years of MS SQL Server development experience
Qualifications:
•Strong VB.NET/C#/Visual C++ .NET skills
•Extensive familiarity and demonstrated use of the .NET 2.0+ APIs
•Extensive experience in developing distributed MS SQL Server 2005+ applications
•Strong experience with Visual Studio .NET IDE, especially VS.NET 2005+
•Expert in OOD, including the use of design patterns and UML
•Experience with analytical and financial application development
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Demonstrated ability to deliver quality work on time
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience with web development using ASP .NET 2.0+
•Experience with Share Point 2007
•Experience with Web Services; some WCF experience is a plus
•Experience with MS Office 2007+ API (Excel) including VSTO
•Experience with SOA and OBA design patterns
