The Research and Healthcare business unit develops and deploys web-based, enterprise-level workflow software for health care research administration. These solutions manage research compliance risk, grants application creation and electronic submission to funding agencies, clinical trials finance and other research processes. Job Description:
Responsible for new account sales to academic medical centers and healthcare systems doing research. The successful candidate will develop and close opportunities in new and existing accounts to meet quarterly sales targets.

Responsibilities:
• Revenue generation according to monthly and quarterly revenue plan
• Personally demonstrate Click Commerce's solutions using a consultative selling approach at multiple levels of the organization (director, dean, VP research)
• Respond to RFPs for new opportunities
• Manage the sales process from initial meetings through closing
• Forecast opportunities by month for new and existing accounts
• Maintain funnel opportunities in on-line CRM system
• Orchestrate the proper mix of sales, professional services and engineering resources to advance the sales process
• Enlist the support of existing customers to act as references
• Manage account sales expense plan

Position Qualifications:
• Successful prior software sales performance with deals of $250K - $500K
• Prior experience and confidence in delivering product demonstrations
• Prior experience with research processes involving grants, basic research or clinical trials with human or animal subjects is ideal
• Minimum of 2 years experience selling server-based software to medium and large accounts
• Understanding of workflow-driven business process modeling
• Ability to master complex finance and regulatory approval processes
• Familiarity with the Internet
• A demonstrated ability to target, qualify and execute sales
• College Degree
• Moderate travel required (e.g. up to 50% of some months)
